BEFORE HENRY

This is a page of Photos, Memories, etc. of our Goddeau Family ancestors who came BEFORE Henry Goddeau.  These are folks like Louis (Godin) Goddeau and his wife, Lucy Menard, Henry’s mother and father; and Patrick and Catherine (Ryan) Crowe, Elizabeth Crowe’s mother and father.

We start this page with photos and short bios of Louis Godin Goddeau and his wife Lucy Menard Goddeau.  They were, of course, the immediate ancestors of Henry, his mother and father.

This page, therefore, is just a collection point for the odd bits and pieces that we in Henry’s family have about the Henry’s (and our) ancestors.

Have fun.

HENRY’S ANCESTORS

The tree of Henry’s ancestors can be a rather large tree and in some respects may not have “proper” genealogical documentation.  Most of it is based on first hand research done by Frances Fryc Goddeau, Bob’s wife.  Frances obtained most of the information from original documents before the advent of the internet web.

Parts of the tree are presented here.

PROFILES

Profiles will be presented here with some of the information that has been gleaned from available records – a small insight into the lives of our ancestors.
